Beta Reads and Their Importance

Have you wondered if it was necessary?

Have you ever thought Beta Reads weren’t a necessary part of the process? I’ve entered the stage of Beta Reads on my first book, The Air We Breathe, which has shown me the importance of having them.

I’m lucky enough to have my lovely friend Anindo Zelle currently helping me and I’m finding that having a third set of eyes is proving to be critical.

From differences in prose, overall voice, grammar, to just catching things I’ve missed in my many reads. I can’t stress enough that having good beta readers is crucial to a good manuscript.

I know I’ll always include them in my process, and I’m incredibly glad I did so for my debut. What are your thoughts on the matter?
